ASKAR: (aside) Sultan bay didn’t give his daughter to Arshin Malchi, but he'll give her to merchant Askar.
SULTAN BAY: Hurry up! Be off!

He goes towards his house, stands at the threshold of door and looks at them.

They leave.

SULTAN BAY: See, what à crazy he is! Hå dares to ask for my daughter.
Hå takes up his dagger and runs after them
SULTAN BAY: I’ll kill you, crazy!
Hå turns back and ponder sin thoughts.
SULTAN BAY: I’m an unhappy man. As if the woman had fallen from the heavens. And just that widow, à nice woman! The whole thing would cost one mullah, three manats money and à loaf of sugar. Where on Earth that villain came and spoiled everything? Hå destroyed my plan. Eh!
HÅ SINGS: How sorrowful became my mood.
My darling, my lovely, you muddle head!
Left me darling, lovely madam,
My beauty, my lovely, you muddle head.
Hå goes in
